In the protracted solar minimum between SC24 & SC25 temperatures spiraled down swiftly. In 2021 subfreezing temperatures and snow blanked almost the entire Stat of Texas. Depending on who is counting the cold related fatalities numbered between 250 and 700 people. Now even tho the Grand Minimum is being acknowledged, there are doubts about any affect it will have on global temperatures.
Sitting at the peak of SC25 and beginning the decent into the minimum stages of this SC. It would appear the sun is already struggling to keep the cold at bay.
All government personnel that have promoted runaway global warming should sign an Agreement to resign and vacate their post in the US government if instead of the temperatures rising, the temperature falls off to extramaritally cold levels during the Grand Solar Minimum. The people of this country cannot have confidence in any government officials who have steadfastly pursued a remedy to a problem “run away global warming” that I doubt has ever occurred during the entire life thriving ages of the earths existence. They are at the same time ignoring the threat posed by naturally occurring repetitive solar dormancy cycles that have impacted numerous long and short term cooling/ice age freezing cycles. The citizens of the United States or any other country cannot be governed by people who inspire zero confidence in their ability to make adult decisions with any adult subject matter understanding.

That chart does say something about the impact of Solar minimums. From a high point in 2016 thru the end of the SC24 protracted minimum, temperatures dropped below the average line on several occasions. Why would they drop at all in a runaway global warming world?
Then finally they get to that 1.5* peak that is the famous tipping point. Was that election coercion? I wouldn’t doubt this chart was doctored under duress. I think it is fair to say that two and a half decades of low solar activity necessitate preparation for extreme cold.
I don’t want to get long winded but after watching a couple of Grand Minimum videos on YouTube it seems as the IPCC is of the belief that the output of the sun only reduces by .25 percent during the minimum periods. No mention of cosmic rays and it is just a guess that the sun’s output will be exactly the same 11 year cycle low compared with a Grand Solar minimum low output. It is impossible that anyone ever measured TSI during a grand Solar minimum. They are just guessing. Very professional!
In eight years when the sunspots come back from their nap will I be there to watch? Probably not. In twelve years when SC26 is at max will I be there to witness the strength of the cycle? Probably not. How worried am I about anything concerning anything about next decade am I right now? Zero. How worried am I about several weak eleven year solar cycles after I’m dead? Why would I be? I’ll be dead. BFD. How worried about sunspots eight years from now? Zero worriedness. Ten years from now? pffffft. Is my well going to go dry this summer because our snowpack is already gone from solar flares? Are the rivers here going dry from no snowpack and am I worried? Yes, very worried.
